This print was created during the Center for Contemporary Printmaking's MONOTHON event in 2026. Monotypes are editions of one, so this print is signed but not numbered because it is unique.
After a monotype plate has been printed, there is still some ink left on it. If that plate is printed a second time, that new lighter print is called a "ghost". This is the ghost of Seven White Roses.
The professional printers who helped create this series were Maggie Oaks and Bridget Stevens.
